Though there is no official statement by BBC, creator Steven Knight made a statement that Peaky Blinders is certainly coming with a season 6. And that’s not the end. Maybe we’ll receive another season hereafter. And the show is planned to have seven seasons in it. Though there is no official release date declared, it was expected that the show would hit the screen sometime in early 2021. But here is a piece of bad news. Steven farther added that, since the pandemic caused by coronavirus, shooting has not been possible to start again. But it is expected to be started within months. Thus, the release date must be postponed. Now we can expect that the show will hit the screen sometime in 2022.

The Cast of Peaky Blinders Season 6: Who will be in it?

It is expected that all the actors from the previous season will be on screen again. Everyone is waiting to see Cillian Murphy again as Thomas “Tommy” Shelby, the leader of the Peaky Blinders. With respect to other characters, the show may contain, Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, Jr., Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, Ned Dennehy as Charlie Strong. Tom Hardy’s Alfie Solomons made a dramatic comeback in season 5. It is expected that he will be on screen again. There have also been rumors Julia Roberts may join the cast as well.

The imaginary Peaky Blinders family is based on the real mafia group of England in post first world war time. The gangster family of Irish and Roma origin epic set in Birmingham, England, in 1919. Fans will remember how season five ended on a cliffhanger with Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) holding a gun to his head. It is expected that the next season will follow that scene. But Steven Knight revealed that there will be a time jump in season 6. The story may begin sometime in 1934. It is hard to expect what will happen. But since the conclusion is not too far, spectators are expected to witness more thrill and adventure in this season. So, keep tight and hold your breath. The show will not disappoint you.
